The lily pads were gigantic, the flowers--breathtaking.

We hope you will join us for our next Mississippi venture, water skiing, in a couple of weeks.

Chestnut Hike and Alpine Ride

What another fabulous day, ladies! It was nice to have Shwags, Mary, Griz (and Gus) join us. The cloudless sky, slight breeze, low humidity and glorious surroundings were energizing! I knew we would have fun together, but wow, this is a BLAST! I loved our lunch on the deck and how we did not stop laughing until the food hit our faces.

I know this is noncompetitive, but may I mention that I DID beat my daughter Mary down the Alpine slide? :-) What fun! See this link:

And I got these groovy ski pants to boot--half price, child's large!

Swiss Valley Hike

What a GRRRRREAT start to Monday Funday! Beginning at 7am, we gathered at the Nature Center and enjoyed catching up with what has been happening in our lives so far this summer. Then fourteen of us (+ 1 baby and 3 dogs!)  hiked for over an hour on the picturesque Swiss Valley trails. Together we enjoyed the lush green paths, bubbling brooks, and the bright blue sky of this beautiful summer morn! Tell us about your experience...
